Role and Responsibilities:
As a Professor in General Surgery the successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and mentoring medical students conducting research and contributing to the academic development of the institution. Key responsibilities include teaching research activities publication of research papers participation in medical education technology courses and involvement in biomedical research courses as designated by NMC.

Candidate Qualifications:
The ideal candidate should hold the position of Associate Professor in General Surgery for a minimum of 3 years in a permitted/approved/recognized medical college or institution. Additionally they should have 8 years of experience in a medical college setting with a strong track record of at least four research publications including original papers metaanalysis systematic reviews and case series published in reputable journals indexed in Medline PubMed Central Science Citation Index Science Citation Index Expanded Embase Scopus and Directory of Open Access Journals. Completion of the Basic Course in Medical Education Technology and Basic Course in Biomedical Research from NMCdesignated institutions is also required.
