Production Supervisor

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervision and Team Leadership: Lead production teams providing guidance training and support to ensure effective performance.
  
• Production Planning and Scheduling: Develop schedules to meet demand considering raw material availability equipment capacity and workforce capabilities.
  
• Quality Control: Enforce quality control measures ensuring food products meet standards and regulatory requirements.
  
• Safety Regulations Adherence: Implement and maintain safety protocols ensuring compliance with safety and health regulations.
  
• Operational Efficiency: Optimize production processes to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
  
• Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels coordinating with procurement and logistics to ensure an efficient supply chain.
  
• Equipment Maintenance: Oversee maintenance and servicing of production equipment to prevent breakdowns.
  
• Training and Development: Conduct training for new and existing employees fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  
• Communication and Collaboration: Ensure effective communication within the team and with other departments.
  
• Problem Resolution: Address production issues promptly ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
  
• Budget Management: Manage resources within budgetary constraints to support costeffective production.
  
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate production records and provide reports to management.
  
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and industry standards.
  
• Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance production efficiency and quality.
  

Essential Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in Food Science Business Administration or related field (Preferred).
  
• Minimum of 4 years of total work experience in food production or a related field.
  
• Proven experience in supervising and leading a team.
  
• Indepth knowledge of production planning quality control and inventory management.
  
• Familiarity with safety regulations and equipment maintenance protocols.
  
• Strong communication problemsolving and leadership skills.
