Production Engineer

In the role asProductionEngineer you are the problem solvingindividual with responsibility of ensuring the retention of highly efficient production linesand improvingour manufacturing processes.AsProduction Engineer you will have the authority to purchase productionenhancing equipment and to implement changes in the manufacturing process to increase quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design of production lines and workstations and ensure material flow.

• Create assembly instructions in the Visual Factory program and other documentation needed for production.
  
  
• Solve problems and obstacles that arise in production and work to minimize the occurrence of these.

• Develop and improve methods and manufacturing processes to make it easier for production staff ensure high quality and to measure and improve lead times.
  
  
• Review and asses the documentation that is to be released for production.
  
  
• Assist the planning function in preparing projects in the ERP system with the correct operations times etc.

• Ensure that the information transfer between PLM and ERP is correct.
  
  
• Use statistical methods in order to show improvement and/or performance status in processes.

Role Specific Responsibilities:

• In cooperation with the department manager plan and distribute tasks for the production engineers. Main responsibility for production in Building 1.

• Participate in the productions pulse meetings and spearhead the work with continuous improvements in Building 1

Qualifications and skills:

• A university degree in either mechanical engineering electronics or equivalent to previous specialisations.

• Experience working as a production technician.

• Vast knowledge and experience of digital systems.

• High level of understanding for work regarding quality assurance.

• Highly skilled in the English language.

Meritorious knowledge:

• An interest for the tech area and experience of practical work in this area.

• Experience in describing production in an effective and simple manner.

• Knowledge of continuous improvement frameworks such as the 5S methodology flow mapping and streamlining production flows.

• General knowledge of the production process.
