Location: LOCAL to Minneapolis MN Hybrid twice per week

Experience and good understanding of handling billing applications including invoicing taxation payments refunds finance and controllership (This is obviously key to the role based on the teams ownership within the subscriptions product team)
Do they need experience with all facets of billing applications or is it acceptable to have just some I.e. only invoicing vs invoicing/taxation/payments/refunds/etc

The Product Manager III is part of the Subscriptions team within the Digital Analytics and Technology (DAT) org at Best Buy. We are in the process of modernizing our systems while still maintaining business continuity from a data and reporting perspective. We are looking for a Product Manager to join us that will be responsible for understanding and evolving our billing products for membership protection plan and subscriptions business. This product manager will work with peers and cross functional stakeholders to understand the products we are supporting how billing taxation payments and booking of charges work and how the data we generate supports the business needs. They will also need to work with engineers to build a custom subscriptions billing platform understand how integrations with other systems work understand the data and events being published and be responsible for the quality of the data that is being reported. This individual must be able to work with multiple teams to ensure the data is setup accurately across the plans lifecycle and ensure that customers are billed and charged correctly based on the defined rules.
