About the role

Product Designers at Cropster take raw ideas and make them into something everyone can relate to and rally behind. We start from the very early stages: finding the right problem to tackle exploring ideas for solving it and then refining it into a coherent solution.

Our product designers are active players throughout the whole product discovery process; carrying out research brainstorming sketching prototyping and collaborating with the rest of the product team members to ship great products. We are empathetic user advocates and care deeply about our users experience and our customers needs. We use Figma/Figjam for ideation and solution prototyping and have a solid Design System in place to ensure consistency across multiple products.

As a Product Designer (f/m/d) at Cropster you will be part of our international highly supportive and collaborative Product Design & UX Research team where we do regular design critiques and foster a feedback giving and learning environment.

The preferred locations for this role are Innsbruck or Vienna we do have offices at both locations.

What youll do

• Be an active contributor to our operational excellence efforts.
• Work on improving the onboarding experience of our products with well reasoned design decisions.
• Support bringing our Cupping App to the next level.
• Act as a customer advocate while continuously partnering with product managers engineers and other important stakeholders to develop workable design solutions.
• Leverage data insights and user research to inform your daytoday work.
• Help organize and conduct user research users are front and center in our design process.
• Contribute to the Cropster UI with wireframes and prototypes in different levels of fidelity that are consistent with our design language.
• Support engineering with feedback and onthefly decisions as your designs are being implemented.
• Be the ambassador of design best practices and accessibility standards.
• Strive to provide a seamless product experience from daily improvements to longerterm strategies.
• Contribute to further developing our design system.

Things you should do well

• Defining and understanding user flows.
• Further concepting (i.e. Wireframing interactive prototypes).
• Writing / working with user stories/job stories JTBD or such.
• Working in crossfunctional environments (codesign prototype handover UX signoffs).
• Planning conducting and synthesizing your own UX research.
• Understanding that good design is not about trends but is built on top of principles and tradeoffs. We like wellreasoned design decisions.

We are looking for someone with

• At least 3 years of experience in Product (UI/UX) Design.
• Experience with onboarding user flows is a plus.
• Great understanding of responsive design web apps and PWAs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience working within cross functional teams preferably in a product/SaaS context.
• A true team spirit someone who is actively helping and contributing to the success of the team and products.
• The ability to clearly and fluently communicate in an English speaking work environment.At this point Cropster will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in Austria for this opening. For NonEU applicants: please attach your work permit to your application.
