Principal Semiconductor Engineer

Job Description:

US - Principal Semiconductor Engineer Position is specifically for a FPGA/ASIC Design Engineer.

Design Tasks:

Develop requirements for Xilinx Ultrascale development board based implementation of the subset of standard product features necessary to implement the system prototype

Develop Collaborative work plan with programs on shared use common features required, starting with the Memory controller compatible with SRAM and MRAM

Lead FPGA implementation and test of HI standard modules for RS422 based digital Gyroscopes and HI custom Resonating Beam Accelerometers

Lead FPGA implementation and test of timing system critical to coordinating sensor sampling with the higher level system

Implement required features on a Xilinx Ultrascale with a path to a custom board design utilizing that COTS chip for integrated system prototyping

Collaborate with systems engineering and electrical design team

Position can be done remotely.

Requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty (Electrical or Computer Engineering) and minimum of 7 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
