Indicatura Principal Consultant Sector and Account Leader


Location

We are proud to offer a flexible approach to the location of our roles with the majority of our team already enjoying the related benefits. We offer the flexibility to work from home or be based within our Manchester office or a combination of both with some travel around the UK to client site required.


Salary and Benefits

80K 104K plus a car allowance with an annual bonus scheme of up to 20% of base salary and a Share Option Scheme package. We also offer various other supportive benefits including private healthcare and 34 days holiday allowance.

About The Role

To be considered for this role you must hold indate UK Security Clearance to SC Level or above. Key Responsibilities

This is an excellent opportunity for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to join our likeminded team of professionals. The Principal Consultant would typically be the client opportunity and project lead and take overall responsibility with appropriate support from the rest of the Indicatura and client team.

As a Principal Consultant you would be working with our consulting team;

  • Leading client project teams as well as delivering client commissions to deliver outstanding outcomes for our clients
  • Leading business relationships with key client stakeholders establishing a trusted advisor relationship and identifying opportunities to deliver further value to our clients
  • Identifying client challenges and shaping responses to deliver value to clients aligned with the Indicatura strategic development plan.
  • Developing account and sector development plans (together with the Directors) including sales targets
  • Responsible for achievement of the agreed sales/revenue plans for the accounts and sector
  • Promoting Indicatura through contributing to the development of marketing materials engaging in networking events presenting papers etc
  • Running workshops and meetings with a range of audience engagement
  • Developing new business relationships and opportunities
  • People development team management operational effectiveness and strategic development of the business
  • Contributing to wider Company development


What are we looking for in a candidate

You will be experienced in leading the delivery of improvement projects within defence and other sectors with a track record of achieving outstanding project outcomes and building relationships with key stakeholders. You will have the personal drive motivation and qualities to lead the growth of our defence . Many of our clients wont make strategic decisions on capital projects or operations without our advice; hence you will need the experience skills and gravitas to communicate authoritatively at senior executive level.

In addition to having the technical knowledge experience people and team skills that such a role would require we are looking for someone with a strong business development track record and ideally with a client following.

We anticipate that to succeed in the role the individual will have the following criteria of skills knowledge experience and qualities. However we welcome diversity in background and would consider individuals with alternative relevant experience.

  • 10 years experience in delivering improved asset performance in defence nuclear or relevant industrial or infrastructure sectors
  • Led the implementation of improvement programmes for large clients typically multisite or across multiple geographies
  • Experience of leading teams projects and client relationships with a track record of success
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; strong analytical skills and problemsolving ability
  • Strong business development track record and market focus/relationships
  • Strong desire to take responsibility for growing a successful differentiated consultancy and to contribute to wider Company development
  • Willing to work on client sites with overnight stays required (travel and expenses paid)
  • Strong aptitude for business development as well as strong presentation and people development skills
  • Full UK driving license
  • UK passport holder.


Qualifications

  • Qualified to degree or postgraduate level in a relevant area: Engineering (Mechanical Materials Aerospace or similar) Physics Mathematics or similar;
  • Member of Institute of Asset Management Institute of Mechanical Engineers or other similar organisation
