Overview
The Primary Math Teacher (Female) plays a vital role in fostering a stimulating and engaging learning environment for young students. This role is integral to the academic growth and development of students in the math discipline and the teacher will be responsible for creating and implementing lesson plans assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging and creative lesson plans for math classes
- Assess students abilities and tailor teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles
- Utilize various instructional strategies to actively engage students in the learning process
- Monitor and track student progress and provide ongoing feedback to students and parents/guardians
- Collaborate with other faculty members to integrate math curriculum with other subjects
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes active participation and student success
- Participate in professional development opportunities and stay uptodate with best practices in math education
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student progress and provide support as needed
- Supervise and support students in extracurricular mathrelated activities and events
- Adhere to school policies and procedures related to student conduct and safety
- Contribute to the overall academic and social development of students through mentorship and guidance
- Participate in faculty meetings and collaborate with colleagues on schoolwide initiatives
- Utilize teaching aids and technology to enhance the learning experience
- Participate in parentteacher conferences and school events to support a strong school community
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Education or related field
- Teaching certification/license in Math Education
- Proven experience teaching math at the primary level
- Demonstrated understanding of primary math curriculum and best teaching practices
- Strong knowledge of child development and various learning styles
- Effective classroom management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to collaborate with colleagues and parents/guardians
- Passion for fostering a positive and nurturing learning environment
