The Employer Branding & Corporate Communication team is responsible for all internal and external corporate communications: as an insurer as a socially committed company and as an employer.
The Press & External Communications team works on the companys external awareness and reputation. To this end the team liaises with a range of external stakeholders including the media. As a Press & External Communications Officer.
You will help build lasting contacts with a range of stakeholders including the media. To do so you will cowrite the external communication and reputation plan and be jointly responsible for its implementation.
So you do corporate storytelling on a strategic level and develop communications and storylines tailored to the different stakeholders and target groups.
You will support the spokespersons in their task of positioning the company top executives and key figures in the press.
You will collaborate on concrete press actions and draft press releases holding statements and other communications. You are also backup as a spokesperson.
You comanage the tools used by the team and take the lead in further professionalising them. Think about revamping the online newsroom optimising newsletter management and media monitoring and so on.
You help monitor the teams results and are responsible for monitoring KPIs (incl. press clippings AVE SoV etc.) and reporting to management.
You will provide support in external communication projects in collaboration with our parent company Ageas.
Finally you will also be part of the crisis communications team.
Requirements
Language : Fluent in French Dutch AND English
Required Knowledge and Experience ( 5 to 8 years )
External communications and media relations
Copywriting
Strong skills in MS Office esp. solid Word and PowerPoint skills required
Proven press/media track record of min. 5 years
Proven expertise in press/media & reputation management
