Responsibilities:
Requires a bachelors degree in electrical engineering or a related Science Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 8 years of jobrelated experience or a masters degree plus 6 years of jobrelated experience.
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense Top Secret security clearance is required within a reasonable period of time. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities U.S. citizenship is required.

ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES:

As an electrical engineer for Undersea Systems youll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for developing Undersea Communication systems.

Power systems / Module design. Experience should include multiple power topology design experience from few watts to KW converters.
Power System architecture and grounding
Transmission Line Effects in power systems
Magnetics Design

Expert level understanding of electrical engineering computeraided design (CAD) tools and mixed Signal circuit analysis/design
Solid use of electrical engineering concepts principles and theories
Circuit Design expertise
Analog design and instrumentation (design and analysis)
Power systems / Module design. Experience should include multiple power topology design experience from few watts to KW converters.
Feedback / Control systems experience
Power System architecture and grounding
Isolated Switching Converters
Transmission Line Effects in power systems
EMI test and control methods (MILSTD461 FCC / IDE / VDE etc.)
Magnetics Design and HighSpeed Design experience is desirable.
Strong troubleshooting ability: must be able to diagnose a problem by narrowing the point of failure sequentially through components.
The use of specialized laboratory equipment such as spectrum analyzers oscilloscopes and other test equipment for development testing and troubleshooting
Experience in writing specifications requirements and verification procedures for complex electronic systems and components
Ahead of technology trends with Research & Development (R&D) experience as well as advanced proficiency in test troubleshooting and analyzing circuit card schematics
Motivated to drive innovation around design architectures assembly component selection and electronics design.
Exceptional collaboration and communication skills with demonstrated success leading design teams for complex projects.
Ability to travel as needed.
