Position: Power BI Developer
Location: Houston TX Onsite Locals Only
Duration: 612 Months Contract
They will also need to have strong SQL experience tying into Databases So please screen them for SSIS experience or strong TSQL
Description:
- Utilize best practices to design develop and support Power BI report and visualizations.
- Publish reports and dashboards using Power BI Service for sharing and collaboration.
- Optimize Power BI dashboards with a focus on usability and performance.
- Understand requirements and can visualize the Dashboard.
- Work on different metrics and calculations using Power BI functions.
- Be able to consolidate and aggregate data for visualizations.
- Schedule dashboard refreshes and set up proactive notifications.
Must Have:
- 4 plus years in Power BI dashboard and report visualization development
- Excellent communication to communicate needs with client and internal teams successfully.
- Expertise in publishing reports and dashboards using Power BI Service
- Expertise in Power Query and DAX languages
- Ability to prevent and support resolution of data quality issues.
