Summary:

Our client is seeking a talented Power BI Developer with expertise in data warehousing to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for crafting and delivering insightful Power BI reports and dashboards leveraging robust data warehousing principles and practices. This role demands a deep understanding of data modeling ETL processes and SQL querying proficiency to extract transform and load data from diverse sources into Power BI for comprehensive analysis and visualization.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design and develop Power BI reports and dashboards to effectively visualize business data and key performance indicators (KPIs).
2. Collaborate closely with business users and stakeholders to gather requirements and comprehend data visualization needs.
3. Construct and implement data models in Power BI to facilitate interactive and impactful reporting.
4. Apply data warehousing concepts and best practices to optimize data extraction transformation and loading procedures.
5. Establish and maintain ETL pipelines to extract data from source systems transform it according to business rules and load it into the data warehouse.
6. Conduct data profiling and analysis to ensure data quality and consistency across reports.
7. Finetune Power BI performance by optimizing DAX queries data models and report designs.
8. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Power BI reports and dashboards as needed.
9. Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in data visualization Power BI and data warehousing.
10. Collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams including data engineers data analysts and business stakeholders to deliver highquality BI solutions.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems or a related field.
2. Proven experience as a Power BI Developer or Business Intelligence Developer with a strong focus on data warehousing.
3. Proficiency in Power BI encompassing report development dashboard design and data modeling.
4. Expertise in SQL querying and working with relational databases (e.g. SQL Server Oracle MySQL).
5. Sound knowledge of data warehousing concepts and methodologies including dimensional modeling ETL processes and data integration techniques.
6. Familiarity with ETL tools and technologies such as SSIS Informatica or Azure Data Factory.
7. Understanding of data visualization best practices and principles.
8. Exceptional analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
9. Strong communication and collaboration abilities with a proven track record of working effectively in team environments.
10. Certifications in Power BI or related technologies would be advantageous (optional but preferred).
