Portfolio Manager

Tasks

• Responsible for managing a portfolio of event and audiovisual projects and services;
• Allocates resources according to needs defines work packages reviews deliverables and ensures quality control risk analysis as well as daily management and followup in the organisation of online / hybrid / digital events and audiovisual products
• Leads problem resolution and ensures ontrack progress of event and audiovisual production preparation and implementation
• Participates in working groups and progress meetings as member of the TV studio team
• Manages portfolio planning for the business of the TV studio;
• Reports progress risks and potential changes in scope to relevant stakeholders involved in TV studio projects
• Assesses change requests and coordinates change management and implementation
• Ensures that the deliverables fulfil the business / technical / legal requirements of the portfolio
• Oversees quality assurance of the productions
• Provides effective leadership for the different project teams ensuring that technical managers are informed and briefed accordingly
• Portfolio project service and / or quality management for events and audiovisual projects
• Knowledge of management standards KPIs metrics methodologies and reporting methods
• Usage of widely used portfolio and project management tools such as back office tailormade systems for proper monitoring on the design implementation and reporting
• Focus on the user/customer needs and requirements
• Collaborating closely with the internal teams (web social media) to design and implement social media measurement strategies across social media platforms

Requirements

• 12 years of work experience in communication projects coordination.
• Experience in stakeholder outreach coordination and events.
• Excellent writing skills in English and another EU language.
• Advantage if a candidate has previous experience within the European Institutions.
• Capacity to work under time constraints.
• Adaptability.
• Good interpersonal skills and proactive approach.
• Problemsolving attitude and flexible team player.
