Summary

The PMS Installer is accountable for the delivery of remote and onsite training for new property management system installations. The position requires contact with property owners or general managers to plan, schedule, and deliver installation, training, and support of Wyndham’s approved Property Management Systems. The position is responsible for collaborating with the Implementation Analyst as it relates to the implementation of Property Management Systems. This position must also ensure the delivery of technical PMS training required at the property.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver required training to internal and external customers.
  • Complete the installation of each site based upon the training schedule provided for remote training and onsite training.
  • Complete signing of any mandatory forms (GM Acceptance letter, Sign-Off and Exception Forms).
  • Ensure balanced rate/inventory with CRS and work with appropriate site personnel to verify financial balances are correct with new PMS.
  • Ensure that the training process is implemented and communicated and consistently administered in compliance with organizational objectives
  • Must be on call on support days 4 and 5 to provide 12 hours of support
  • Complete Departure Surveys when instructed by Supervisor.
  • Provide training to sites that appear on weekly on training report that call into HTCS frequently for training issues.
  • Meet the goals and objectives, policies, procedures, schedules, and similar functions relative to departments operations. Continually seek and support new approaches, practices, and processes to improve the efficiency of the training services provided.
  • Maintains liaison with management/operations supervisor in other functional areas (HTCS, Implementations, OSD, Openings, Operations, Global Sales, and MyRequest) to exchange information, coordinate efforts, provide status, and resolve problems. 10%

Scope/Financial Responsibility

The PMS Installer will work closely with the Implementation & training team to deploy new property management systems.

Travel Requirements: Travel is required up to 30% to assist in execution of Wyndham Hotels and Resorts training programs if needed.

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications

  • HS Diploma; AA in business or related field.
  • 3 years in hotel or franchising business.

Complexity

The PMS Installer will work in close coordination with the Deployment & Training department. Te PMS Installer has minor decision-making responsibilities. The Trainer will have no direct reports.

Organizational Relationships

The PMS Installer is required to maintain positive relationships with all support teams interrelated to WH&R systems and must conduct themselves in a positive way in all communications.
