Job Description

Job Overview: As a PL/SQL Developer you will be responsible for developing testing implementing and
maintaining PL/SQL code for Oracle databases. You will collaborate with database administrators software
developers and other stakeholders to design and optimize database queries stored procedures and functions.
Responsibilities:
1. Database Development:
o Design develop and implement PL/SQL code for Oracle databases.
o Create and optimize database queries stored procedures triggers and functions.
o Ensure data integrity and performance by finetuning SQL queries.
2. Database Maintenance:
o Perform routine database maintenance tasks such as indexing backup and recovery.
o Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues promptly.
o Collaborate with database administrators to optimize database structures.
3. Code Testing and Optimization:
o Conduct thorough testing of PL/SQL code to identify and fix bugs.
o Optimize queries for maximum efficiency and performance.
o Work closely with software developers to integrate database functionality with applications.
4. Documentation:
o Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all PL/SQL code and database structures.
o Document database design data dictionaries and coding standards.
5. Collaboration:
o Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including software developers system analysts and database
administrators.
o Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
Requirements:
1. Educational Qualifications:
o Bachelor s degree in computer science Information Technology or a related field.
2. Technical Skills:
o Strong proficiency in PL/SQL development.
o Indepth knowledge of Oracle database architecture and SQL.
o Experience with database performance tuning and optimization.
3. Experience:
o Proven experience as a PL/SQL Developer or similar role.
o Familiarity with version control systems.
4. Communication Skills:
o Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
o Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
5. ProblemSolving Skills:
o Analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
o Detailoriented with a focus on delivering highquality solutions.
6. Adaptability:
o Ability to adapt to changing priorities and requirements.
o Willingness to learn and stay updated on industry trends
