    The Engineering Technician's responsibilities include performing research, building prototypes, inspecting products, ensuring sites are safe and clean, and providing customer support. You should be able to troubleshoot equipment, communicate effectively under pressure, and provide effective suggestions for improvement.

    What you bring:

    • Proven ability to work in maintenance & manufacturing environments within the automotive sector.
    • A strong background with PLC programming (focus on reading programs and troubleshooting)
    • A strong fabrication background with hand tools and machinery
    • A strong background with robot programming
    • Experience in industrial maintenance, robot programming, and troubleshooting
    • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
    • Creative problem solver who thrives when presented with a challenge
    • Able to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions
    • Flexible and able to multitask on several different aspects of a project or on multiple projects
    • Able to take initiative to recommend projects, product improvements, or cost reductions
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • A strong background with vendor management/relationship
    • 2 years technical Associate Degree or 5 years of work experience

    Bonus if you have:

    • Experience with TOYOPUC PLC programing and creating robot teach programs from origin
    • Industrial maintenance and Plastics equipment installation experience
    • Toyota Experience
    • Experience with AGV, AMRs, lift assists, and other sub-assembly equipment and components
    • Additional related certifications
    • Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent experience
  • Important Information:

    • Job Title: Plastics CW Seibi
    • Location: Princeton, Indiana
    • Local/Non-Local: Local candidates first preference (Hiring manager is open for non-local candidates only if they are willing to relocate on their own as no relocation assistance will be provided)
    • Duration: 12 months with a possibility of extension
    • Travel: 50% domestic (Majority) and international travel (Canada, and Mexico)
    • US Citizen: First preference
    • Overtime: Yes, as per the business need during weekdays and weekends
    • Working hours: Standard
    • Remote/on-site/Hybrid: On-site from the very first day
    • Experience Level: minimum 5 or more years (depends on degree)
    • Education: 2 years technical Associate Degree or 5 years of work experience

    Other important information:

    • Candidate must have experience concerning Mechanical, Electrical and Pneumatics
    • Candidate must have PLC and Robotics experience
    • Microsoft Office experience required
    • Schematic reading and understanding concerning equipment installation and tolerances
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing setting

    Interview Process: STAR format interview (Considering customers' situation)

    • Interview 1: MS teams or in-person depends on the candidate (60 minutes = 45 interview section + 15 QNA) (Panel interview)
    • Interview 2 (Optional): 30-minutes
