Experience / Qualifications

• A high caliber engineering graduate preferably with MBA or equivalent.
• 20 years of experience in Operations function from a world class company in the field of oil and gas sector (Completions and Cementing) concentrating on precision machined parts manufacturing CKD & assemblies testing and validation.
• Departments Design QA Marketing & Sales complete Operations SCM Finance (dotted line) packing & dispatch.
• Should have indepth knowledge of CNC machining complete knowledge from Design to Testing.
• He / She should have a thorough understanding of the drivers of the business and should have demonstrated the ability to adapt and deliver in an aggressive and competitive environment.
• Sector knowledge and API 11D1 11AX 14L 5CTS Q1 subject knowledge and competence is a must.
• Should have hands on experience of heading a unit for more than 5 years with a turnover of Rs. 125 to 250 Crs.
• Should have worked in ISO 9001 ISO 14001 ISO 45001 API certified companies.
• Should have worked on ERP platforms.
• Experience of implementing industry 4.0 is a must.

Job Responsibilities

1. Responsible and accountable for performance of the unit.
2. Responsible for departments like Design Manufacturing Engineering Production Management Lean Manufacturing SCM development Quality Management Change Management Assembly & Testing
3. Implementing best practices and Industry 4.0
4. Responsible for plant Setup for Completions and Cementing division Capex planning Plant & Machinery Line Layout machines & inspection equipment installation and commissioning material handling planning runoff trials run at the rate Process capability & capacity establishment with Lean Concept till testing and validation.
5. New product Development Machining cost Estimation Feasibility study/ planning CNC Process planning cutting tool & Machine selection Fixture designing & manufacturing Gauges designing & Manufacturing Prototyping PPAP Process documents from Design to Testing & Validation.
6. Operational Excellence Hands on experience of implementing 5S Lean manufacturing Kaizen Kanban QCC SPC SMED VSM QMS EMSOHSAS.
7. Sound Knowledge of Problemsolving tools like 7QC 8D productivity improvement techniques
8. Responsible for developing key supplier base for raw materials bought outs special process vendors in and out of India
9. Responsible for developing longterm strategies and sponsoring key initiatives.
10. Responsible for labor relations and promoting high performance group.
11. Responsible for turning the company into a World Class Organization for systems and deliverables.
12. Responsible for high happiness coefficient index.
