Pipe Designer Code MHMAPD

This is a remote position.

• Collaborate with MH engineers to design and create detailed 3D models of piping systems including pipe supports using industrystandard software.
  
• Able to incorporate factors such as space constraints safety standards and operability into the layout.
  
• Knowledge of 3D design software including (Plant 3D CADWorx and/or AutoPLANT) software suites
  
• Generate detailed technical drawings such as pipe isometric drawings for accurate fabrication.
  

• Drafting General Arrangement drawing for each piece of equipment
  
• Creating Isometrics
  
• Plot Plan Plant Layout drawings
  
• Divide piping layout into piping spools
  

• CAD Support Translate piping specification to 3D models (library of fittings valves pipe)
  
• Familiarity with industry codes standards general practices to ensure design meets regulatory and safe operating requirements (ASME ANSI API)
  
• If possible Perform pipe stress analysis
  

• 3D CAD model (CADworks) of piping with major equipment valves instrumentation etc.
  

• 3D CAD model library provided to and owned by MH
  

• Pipe isometric drawings
  

• 2D drawing packages for all product piping isometric drawings
  

• General arrangement drawings
  
• If possible PEstamped pipe stress analysis results.
  

Requirements

• Transform layout plans and transform to 3D
  
• Platforms: CADworks Plant3D (must have)
  
• Able to take a 2D presentation into a 3D model following piping specs
  
• Knowledge in valves and instruments create a library of instruments
  
• 8 years of experience senior level
  
• Competency in ASME ANSI API
  
• Experience in plan design for facilities chemical facilities (nonnegotiable)
  
• Must have Fiber Optic internet with at least 25 Mbps bandwidth
  
• Must have a backup desktop or laptop with the latest OS
  
• Must be able to work from 11PM
