Travel Hire is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Physician Neonatologist to join our team in Las Vegas NV on a fulltime 6month contract. As a leading provider of temporary healthcare staffing solutions we are dedicated to connecting healthcare professionals with opportunities to make a positive impact in communities across the country.
As a Neonatologist you will provide specialized medical care to newborn infants who are premature critically ill or have other medical conditions requiring intensive care. You will work closely with a team of healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care for these vulnerable patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose and treat newborn infants with a variety of medical conditions
Monitor and assess the growth and development of premature and critically ill infants
Prescribe and administer medications and treatments as needed
Communicate with parents and families about their childs condition and treatment plan
Work collaboratively with a team of nurses respiratory therapists and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
Attend deliveries and provide immediate care to newborns as needed
Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and meetings to discuss patient care and treatment plans
Document all patient care and treatment plans accurately and timely
Stay current with medical advancements and best practices in the field of neonatology
Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures and maintain a safe and clean work environment
Qualifications:
Medical degree from an accredited medical school
Board certification in Neonatology
Active and unrestricted medical license in the state of Nevada
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Neonatologist
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work well in a fastpaced and highstress environment
Strong critical thinking and problemsolving skills
Willingness to travel and work in different healthcare facilities as needed
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Basic computer skills and proficiency in electronic medical records systems
