Physician-Hospitalist Pediatrics

Travel Hire is seeking a skilled and compassionate Pediatric Hospitalist Physician to join our team in Utica NY.

This is a fulltime position.

As a Pediatric Hospitalist Physician you will provide specialized care to pediatric patients admitted to the hospital. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive and coordinated care to patients including newborns infants children and adolescents.

Responsibilities:

Conduct initial evaluations and ongoing assessments of pediatric patients

Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the patients primary care physician and other specialists

Perform procedures such as intubation lumbar punctures and chest tube placements

Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding their medical conditions and treatment plans

Collaborate with nurses therapists and other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest quality of care for patients

Communicate effectively with patients families and other healthcare providers to promote continuity of care

Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to evidencebased practices

Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care in electronic medical records

Requirements:

Medical degree from an accredited medical school

Board certification in Pediatrics

Valid medical license in the state of New York

Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Pediatric Hospitalist

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work in a fastpaced and dynamic environment

Flexibility to work rotating shifts including nights and weekends

BLS and PALS certification
