An acute care hospital located near Carlsbad NM is seeking Fulltime permanent Physical Therapist Assistant to join their growing team!

Pay: up to $38/hour depending on experience

Sign On Bonus: $5000

Relocation Assistance: $5000

Physical Therapist Assistant Job Details:

Setting: shortterm acute care hospital

Fulltime direct hire position

Outpatient: MonFri (8am5pm)

Weekends as needed

Physical Therapist Assistant Job Duties:

Assist in implementing and carrying out physical therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist including exercises stretches and therapeutic activities to improve patients mobility and alleviate pain

Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress treatment interventions and any observed changes. Prepare reports for the supervising physical therapist to aid in ongoing assessment and adjustment of treatment plans

Collaborate closely with the physical therapist and other healthcare team members to provide comprehensive patient care. Offer guidance and support to patients during therapy sessions ensuring a safe and positive therapeutic environment.

Physical Therapist Assistant Requirements:

Must have valid Compact or New Mexico State License as PTA

Seeking ACLS BLS CPR and PALS certification

1 year of experience; required

Collaborate with local artists and community organizations to organize and participate in art exhibitions fostering a vibrant arts community

Develop and implement art education programs for diverse age groups promoting creativity and cultural enrichment in the Artesia community

Manage and curate public art installations enhancing the aesthetic appeal of the city and creating engaging spaces for residents and visitors

Foster partnerships with local businesses to sponsor and support art events creating a sustainable and mutually beneficial relationship between the arts and the business community in Artesia New Mexico
