Key Responsibilities:

• Develop test and maintain robust and scalable PHPbased web applications
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to define design and ship new features
• Write clean welldesigned code following industry best practices
• Create and maintain databases to support business applications
• Troubleshoot test and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality
• Participate in the entire application lifecycle focusing on coding and debugging
• Conduct performance tuning improvement balancing usability and automation
• Integrate data storage solutions
• Stay updated with emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into operations and activities
• Collaborate with a team of developers designers and system administrators to identify new features
• Participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing
• Work on multiple projects simultaneously
• Document code concepts business logic and project requirements
• Follow industry best practices
• Contribute to the architecture design and implementation of software

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field
• Proven work experience as a PHP Developer
• Demonstrable knowledge of web technologies including HTML CSS JavaScript AJAX etc.
• Strong database management and SQL skills
• Experience in common thirdparty APIs (Google Facebook eBay etc.)
• Understanding of opensource projects like Joomla Drupal Wikis osCommerce etc.
• Experience with an MVC framework
• Good understanding of asynchronous request handling partial page updates and AJAX
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git
• Understanding of software development best practices
