PHP Application Developer WFH

Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain web applications using PHP JavaScript and other relevant technologies.
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to define design and ship new features.
• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle including requirements gathering design coding testing and deployment.
• Perform thorough testing and debugging of applications to ensure seamless functionality.
• Optimize application performance and ensure scalability.
• Integrate data storage solutions and create database schemas that represent and support business processes.
• Keep abreast of industry trends and advancements in web development to apply best practices.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for web applications.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.
• Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate userfacing elements with serverside logic.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the development team.
• Stay updated on security vulnerabilities and ensure our applications are secure.
• Contribute to the overall architecture of our platforms.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
• Proven work experience as a PHP developer or Application developer.
• Strong knowledge of PHP web frameworks such as Laravel CodeIgniter etc.
• Proficiency in frontend technologies including JavaScript HTML and CSS.
• Experience with database management using SQL.
• Understanding of RESTful APIs JSON and XML.
• Ability to troubleshoot test and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Solid understanding of security best practices in web development.
• Excellent problemsolving skills and a detailoriented mindset.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Experience with agile methodologies.
