Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the QA team to understand project requirements and develop test plans and test cases.

• Conduct a comprehensive vulnerability assessment of web applications rigorously adhering to recognized standards and frameworks such as Open Web Application Security Project (OWASP) guidelines ISO/IEC 27001 standard SANS Top 25 and the MITRE ATT&CK framework.
• Perform penetration testing on web applications APIs and networks to discover and exploit security vulnerabilities.
• Utilize automated scanning tools to identify common security issues and work on enhancing the efficiency of scanning processes.
• Prepare detailed and actionable reports outlining discovered vulnerabilities potential risks and recommended remediation measures.
  

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Cybersecurity Information Security Computer Science or a related field.

• Demonstrated interest in cybersecurity and a strong desire to contribute to improving the security of software.
• Familiarity with web application security concepts and common vulnerabilities (e.g. OWASP Top Ten).
• Basic understanding of programming languages (e.g. Python JavaScript).
• Familiarity with security testing tools and methodologies.
