Tasks

A Personal Human Resources (HR) Assistant plays a crucial role in
supporting HR functions within an organization. This role involves a
combination of administrative tasks employee engagement and assisting
with HR processes. The individual in this position collaborates closely
with the HR team to ensure smooth operations in areas such as
recruitment employee relations and HR documentation.

Personal Human Resources Assistant Tasks:

  1. Administrative Support:
  • Handle incoming calls and emails directing inquiries to the appropriate HR personnel.
  • Maintain HR files ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Schedule interviews meetings and training sessions.
  1. Recruitment Assistance:
  • Source candidates through various channels.
  • Coordinate preemployment activities such as background checks and drug screenings.
  • Communicate with candidates regarding interview schedules and outcomes.
  1. Onboarding and Offboarding:
  • Prepare onboarding kits for new hires.
  • Conduct orientation sessions for new employees.
  • Complete necessary paperwork for departing employees.
  1. Employee Records:
  • Update employee records with changes in status salary or personal information.
  • Ensure compliance with recordkeeping requirements.
  1. HR Documentation:
  • Assist in the creation and distribution of HRrelated documents policies and forms.
  • Maintain an organized and accessible digital and physical filing system.
  1. Employee Relations:
  • Address general employee queries and concerns.
  • Document employee feedback and concerns for review by HR managers.
  1. Benefits Administration:
  • Assist in benefits enrollment and provide information to employees.
  • Facilitate communication between employees and benefits providers.
  1. Training and Development:
  • Coordinate training sessions workshops and seminars.
  • Track employee participation in training programs.
  1. Data Entry and Reporting:
  • Enter new hires terminations and changes into HRIS systems.
  • Generate regular and adhoc reports as needed.
  1. Employee Engagement:
  • Organize and participate in employee engagement events.
  • Collaborate on recognition programs to boost morale.
  1. Compliance:
  • Stay updated on changes in labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Assist in audits to ensure compliance with regulations.

Requirements

Education:

  • A bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field is preferred.

Experience:

  • Previous experience in an administrative role with exposure to HR tasks.
  • Familiarity with HRIS (Human Resources Information System) software is an advantage.
