The Caregiver role is ideal for individuals passionate about providing highquality care and support to clients enabling them to maintain their independence and dignity.

Responsibilities:

• Build meaningful relationships with seniors and their families by providing assistance with activities of daily living responding to individual care needs and understanding their unique preferences and personalities.
• Assist with personal care tasks including but not limited to toileting bathing grooming dressing and feeding.
• Adhere to a prescribed health care plan which may include assisting with exercises and administering medications as directed.
• Provide mobility assistance such as helping residents get in and out of beds chairs or wheelchairs.
• Engage residents in life skills and other enrichment activities tailored to their individual profiles.
• Monitor and report changes in residents conditions to management and recommend changes in care and services as needed.
• Assume responsibility for an assigned group of residents during shifts ensuring their whereabouts are known and conducting regular physical checks.
• Attend to the dining needs of residents and guests while maintaining high standards of hospitality and service.

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or G.E.D. certificate preferred.
• Previous experience as a Caregiver/Home Health Aide/Personal Care Assistant/Certified Nursing Assistant working with seniors preferred.
• New York State HHA PCA or CNA certification OR ability to become certified.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to pass background check.
• Valid drivers license and reliable vehicle preferred.
• Written and verbal English skills for effective communication and understanding.
• Commitment and passion for serving seniors with excellent customer service skills.
• A positive attitude flexibility to perform a variety of duties in the service of residents and the ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to act in the best interest of the resident.
