Hourly: $22.00 - $25.00
Salary: $45,760 - $52,000 (based on a 40 hour work week)
18% Agency Placement Fee - 90 day guarantee
ROLE: The Mobile Phlebotomist under the general supervision of the Phlebotomy Supervisor, works to provide clinical pre analytical laboratory services to our clients/patients in a mobile setting. They are responsible for completing their assigned routes in a safe and timely manner. They must follow all policies and procedures.
TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk, stand, handle or feel, talk and hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee may lift and or move up to 35 pounds on occasion. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Candidates will drive own vehicle
- Mileage reimbursement at $0.38/mile after first 20 miles
- Will go to a central lab to get equipment
- Could drop off specimens with courier or at central lab locations
- All stops dispatched to candidate daily/weekly
- Usually assisted living facilities or hospital
- Willing to train candidates without mobile experience
- Candidate will receive two weeks of shadowing/training
- Ideal candidate would live in proximity of service
- No ride a longs allowed before hired due to insurance

REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Practices excellent communication and interaction skills specific to the population served, including the pediatric and geriatric communities.
- Treats customers and patients with respect, dignity, and discretion; acknowledging residents' rights and patients' right to refuse.
- Demonstrate regular attendance.
- Must have certificate of phlebotomy.
- Must have a current, valid State Driver's license; car insurance; good driving record; a possess a vehicle in good working condition suitable to meet daily driving requirements.
- Proficient in venipuncture and skin puncture using both vacutainer and syringe techniques.
- Knowledge of laboratory operations
- Maintains sterile, sanitary conditions to prevent contamination.
