We are looking for a highly proactive and efficient People Support and Administrator who will be accountable for ensuring compliance and supporting high performance. This is a rewarding and stimulating role for someone who seeks to deliver complex essential support for dynamic teams across geographies, particularly programmes and initiatives designed to improve employee engagement, retention and growth. This role requires the proactive application of knowledge and experience to improve core practices and processes and support efficient and successful ways of working across the business.
ESSENTIAL HR RESPONSIBILITIES
Screening of initial candidates in hiring activity
Responsible for screening prospective graduate hires
Ensure onboarding programme is delivered effectively
Ensure new hires have clear goals and KPI s to allow timely decisions at probation period end
Maintain up-to-date headcount data, personal data and contracts (in line with GDPR and local regulations) and organograms
Responsible for ensuring HR policies and practices reflect changes in law and are communicated through the organisation
Manage employee benefits, ensuring consistency as well as relevant geographical legal requirements.
CORE ADMINISTRATION RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead and deliver on support and effective administration of all recruitment and onboarding activities
Responsible for high quality execution of all administrative aspects of graduate recruitment and development programmes
Ensure all payroll activity and pay changes are made on time and in collaboration with Finance
Deliver efficiently on administrative and support activities for performance management as well as learning and development activities
Deliver, in an effective and timely manner, the full range of administrative, travel and visa or permit requirements to support any relocation, secondment, or consulting assignments
Champion effective commercial use of people resources by ensuring completion of weekly timesheets and management of team leave plans
Be responsible for all administration and support to the external talent pool development
Bachelor s degree and 3 years relevant experience or 5+ years in an Administrative Assistant /Junior People Management role supporting teams across geographies
Ability to interface well with internal and external stakeholders in a highly professional manner and to maintain the highest level of confidentiality in both internal and external relationships
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively with other team members
Excellent verbal, written and proofreading skills
Ability to prioritise effectively and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Sound judgement and decision making skills
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity
Outstanding planning and organisational skills.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
Strong working knowledge of Google Suite, Salesforce an advantage
Knowledge of principles and practices of people management
Ability to continuously improve processes.
