Job Description

Location: Hybrid with travel to Northampton 2/3 days per week

Salary: 27000 (pro rata)

Hours: 37.5

You will work as part of the People Shared Service team and will be responsible for managing the People Team inbox prioritising and dealing with all employee queries and requests in line with the Shared Service Team SLAs. You will also be responsible for administration tasks relating to the full employee life cycle as well as payroll and benefits administration.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Manage the People Team inbox in line with agreed SLAs
  • Produce offer letters and contracts for new starters and set up on the People System (Cascade)
  • Produce letters for changes to Terms and Conditions & leavers and update the People System accordingly
  • Maintain data integrity in the People system and produce standard and adhoc reports as required
  • Ensure all data is maintained in line with GDPR requirements
  • Conduct background checks for all new starters using the Experian portal
  • Carry out administration relating to PMI and Gym benefits
  • Any other administration duties that may be required from time to time

Essential Skills:

  • Ability to demonstrate high levels of confidentiality and integrity
  • Previous experience working in an administrative role
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment managing multiple tasks whilst remaining adaptable to business needs
  • Ability to prioritse and adapt to changing requirements
  • Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word Excel and Outlook
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal/written)
  • Ability to work flexibly as required

Desirable Skills:

      • Previous experience working in a People administration role.
      • Previous experience using People Systems (ideally Cascade) and Experian
