What you will do

Catawiki s People Team contributes to Catawiki s continued success by hiring great people, encouraging and supporting their development, and building a healthy, productive and engaging workplace. The People Operations team is the building block of our People function, with strong, robust and efficient operations we grow our partnerships with the business and create a meaningful employee experience.

As People Operations Advisor you will be responsible for the complete HR administrative process of the employee lifecycle for 800+ employees across several European countries.

You will make sure new hires receive their contract on time, are onboarded smoothly and enrolled correctly. You will also support international hires with their relocation and ensure

their transition to a new country is a pleasant one. This role is critical in driving forward the development and delivery of smooth and efficient HR operations. You will work closely with our wider HR, Recruitment, Finance and Legal teams.

  • You will be responsible for a full range of administrative tasks throughout the employee life cycle, including issuing contracts and amendments, ad-hoc requests of employees and running scheduled reports.
  • You will actively support the People Operations team in reducing administrative tasks via clearer processes and automation.
  • Responsible for preparing and sending employment agreements and change letters.
  • Supporting with our onboarding/offboarding project and tasks.
  • Preparation of monthly changes to our pension provider and insurances.
  • Support projects within our HRIS (Workday).
  • Move in Sync with our HR Business Partners, Recruitment and Office IT Team to optimize employee processes and experience.

Who are you

  • 3-4 years relevant experience in HR Operations, preferably with international exposure to several European countries (e.g. France, Spain, Italy, UK, Germany);
  • Detail oriented and proactive; someone who enjoys creating new best practices, curious about what works and keen to improve what doesn t;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Good organizational, stakeholder and time management skills;
  • Team player as well as someone who can work independently and autonomously;
  • High level of integrity and resilient;
  • Proactive and solution-focused mentality, willingness to go the extra mile;
  • Fluent in English both spoken and written and Dutch is a big plus;
  • Online platform or e-Commerce international experience preferred.
  • Experience with Workday is a big plus

Our experts and sales staff in local markets work 100% remotely in most cases from home. Some key positions are hired remotely, while we also offer relocation services for colleagues needing to be closer to the office.
