Pediatric Registered Nurse RN

Position: Pediatric Registered Nurse (RN)

Location: Staten Island NY

Schedule: Flexible 12hour night shifts (Nonnegotiable)

Salary: $60.00 per hour

Shifts:

• Evening
• Night
• Overnight

Weekly Hours: 3x12 Monday to Friday with rotating weekends as needed

Responsibilities:

• Provide skilled nursing care to pediatric patients with GTube and Trach requirements in home care.
• Administer medications monitor vital signs and conduct assessments for proper care.
• Manage GTube feedings medication administration and tracheostomy care.
• Collaborate with physicians caregivers and families for comprehensive care plans.
• Educate patients and caregivers on GTube and Trach care maintenance and emergencies.
• Maintain accurate medical records and offer emotional support to patients and families.

Requirements:

• Current NYS RN license.
• 2 years pediatric nursing experience with GTube and Trach care.
• BLS and PALS certifications.
• Strong communication critical thinking and teamwork skills.
• Compassionate and patientfocused approach.

Preferred Experience:

• 2 years Pediatric Nursing Tracheostomy Care and Home Care.
