The American Autism & Rehabilitation Center (AARC) is currently seeking to add a Pediatric Physical Therapist (PT) for our outpatient clinic located in Daphne Alabama.
As part of our dynamic and collaborative multidisciplinary team which includes Speech Language Pathologists Occupational Therapists and Applied Behavior Analysis professionals youll have the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of infants toddlers children teens and young adults.

We are seeking dedicated responsible and nurturing professionals who are passionate about helping individuals with congenital and acquired neurological conditions including Autism spectrum disorders sensory processing disorders developmental delays cerebral palsy Down syndrome and other genetic syndromes communication disorders feeding and swallowing disorders spasticity and more.
In this role the PT will collaborate with the Clinical Director and the AARC leadership team to assist in the development and expansion of our PT program. The PT will build and maintain a caseload which consists of working directly with children and families.
The PT is responsible for collaborating with the AARC leadership team to promote onboarding of new employees as needed monitoring and implementation of programs including knowledge and familiarity with billing and reimbursement.
In addition the PT will manage the daytoday practices of the program provide oversight and performance metrics.
Skills knowledge education and experience:
Licensed as a Physical Therapist in the State of Alabama and current with National Board certification requirements.
Preferred background in NDT or SI.
Two years of pediatric experience is preferred.
Experience with the Universal Exercise Unit is a plus.
Strong organizational skills with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
Ability to thrive in a cooperative teamwork environment.
Familiarity with community resources.
Experience working with children with multiple disabilities and/or behavioral challenges is preferred.
Basic computer skills.
