Specialty Backup: All pedi subspecialties are available for consultation in the ED.

Intubation (ETT/NT) Newborns Pediatrics
Conscious/Deep Sedation
Arterial/Central lines
Lumabr Puncture
Paracentesis
Thoracentesis
Thoracentesis
Chest Tube insertion
Needle Pneumothorax Decompression
EKG & Xray Interpretation
PA catheter
Exchange transfusion
Suturing Minor Lacerations
Beds in the Dept: 15 ICU: 16 30 Nursery 50 Peds
Trauma Level: II
EMR: Epic
Other Info:
Physicians will work alongside APRNs and residents but does not supervise
All standard ED equipment is provided.
Temporary Privileges available: Yes
Hospital Privileges available: Yes
Travel lodging and malpractice insurance covered
Requirements:
Active TX License or IMLC

BLS ATLS ACLS PALS
