Tasks

We are providing exceptional customer service and support to patients in a healthcare setting We are currently seeking compassionate Patient Support Associates to join our team. This role offers an opportunity to assist patients with their nonclinical needs and ensure their comfort and satisfaction

Responsibilities:

As a Patient Support Associate you will play a vital role in providing assistance and support to patients during their healthcare experience. Your responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

Greeting and assisting patients and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.

Answering phone calls and directing inquiries to the appropriate personnel.

Scheduling appointments and coordinating patient referrals.

Assisting patients with completing registration forms and insurance paperwork.

Providing information on hospital services policies and procedures.

Escorting patients to various areas within the facility as needed.

Assisting with patient transport and mobility as requested.

Ensuring patient rooms and waiting areas are clean and organized.

Requirements

Qualifications:

To succeed as a Patient Support Associate candidates should possess the following qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in healthcare administration preferred.

Prior experience in customer service or patient support preferred.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Empathy and compassion for patients and families.

Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced environment.

Basic computer skills and familiarity with office equipment.

Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and patient needs.
