2024 is continuing to provide sustainable growth within OCU Group. Due to this continued growth an opportunity has arisen for a Parts Administrator to join our Transport team in our Levenshulme Depot.

The purpose of the role is to ensure the effective supply of materials and consumables from goods in receiving to issuing to the relevant engineers or stock whilst maintaining effective stock control.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage all stock and equipment control.
  • Office Based Administration.
  • Receive deliveries.
  • Ensure all items conform to any specified requirement and all relevant certification received with each consignment.
  • Raise purchase orders through Syrinx when requested by department Managers.
  • Check all materials/components correspond to purchase order.
  • Ensure the accuracy of all recorded stock through appropriate systems and processes.
  • Monitor stock levels daily through use of Syrinx inventory management system and/or physical checks.
  • Carry out end of month stock take.
  • Maintain good housekeeping standards.
  • Collection of parts/goods direct from supply where urgency requires it.
  • Carry out any other duties appropriate for this post.

Skills and Experience:

  • Previous Experience in a stores or stock management role.
  • Selfmotivated and able to work on own initiative; enthusiastic with can do attitude.
  • Sound IT Skills be able to quickly adapt to use of company operating systems.
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems.
  • Full UK clean manual driving licence.
  • Good problemsolving skills the ability to anticipate potential problems and overcome them effectively.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Previous experience within a plant and transport operation.
