Overview:
The Parttime Radiologist plays a critical role in the healthcare organization by providing accurate and timely interpretations of medical images to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. Key Responsibilities:
- Performing and interpreting diagnostic imaging studies such as Xrays MRIs CT scans and ultrasounds.
- Communicating with referring physicians to discuss imaging results and provide medical interpretations.
- Ensuring the accuracy and quality of medical images and reports.
- Using advanced medical technology to analyze and interpret images.
- Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient cases and treatment plans.
- Adhering to all safety and radiation protection guidelines.
- Assisting in the training and supervision of radiology staff.
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to improve patient outcomes.
- Maintaining accurate and complete patient records and reports.
- Staying updated on the latest developments and advancements in radiology and diagnostic imaging.
Required Qualifications:
- Medical degree from an accredited institution.
- Board certification in Radiology.
- Valid state medical license to practice as a Radiologist.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in diagnostic imaging and medical interpretation.
- Expertise in various imaging modalities such as Xray MRI CT and ultrasound.
- Excellent attention to detail and diagnostic accuracy.
