About the Job:

We are seeking a proactive and detailoriented Office Assistant to join our team on a parttime basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks to ensure smooth daytoday operations in our office. This role is essential in maintaining the organization and efficiency of our work environment and offers potential for increased responsibilities and hours as the company grows.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cleaning and maintaining office spaces to ensure a tidy and professional environment.
  • Organizing office supplies documents and equipment to optimize space and accessibility.
  • Managing and updating filing systems both electronic and physical for efficient data retrieval.
  • Assisting in the preparation and management of company events ensuring smooth execution and positive experiences.
  • Handling mailing shipping and receiving duties including sorting and distributing mail preparing packages for shipment and receiving deliveries.
  • Undertaking additional adhoc tasks or projects as required to support various departments within the organization.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in an office setting or similar role is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in basic computer operations and familiarity with office equipment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
