Part-Time Medical Doctor MD for Federal Injury Workers

Job Description:

We are seeking a parttime MD or DO to join our team and provide comprehensive medical services to injured federal employees. As part of our specialized practice we focus on federal injury workers cases Department of labour cases.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct virtual and inoffice patient examinations as well as thorough chart reviews.
• Gather detailed medical histories from patients to accurately assess their conditions.
• Order diagnostic tests such as Xrays MRIs or laboratory tests as needed for proper evaluation.
• Enter patient information and medical documentation accurately and promptly into electronic medical records systems.
• Provide telemedicine consultations when appropriate and conduct inoffice visits as necessary.
• Prescribe physical therapy and other indicated medical services based on patient needs.
• Ensure timely and comprehensive documentation of patient encounters assessments and treatment plans.
• Review and interpret diagnostic test results and incorporate them into patient care plans.
• Prescribe nonnarcotic medications to manage pain and other symptoms effectively while adhering to regulatory guidelines.

Requirements:

• Current MD or DO license in Alabama with no restrictions.
• Board certification in a relevant specialty (e.g. Family Medicine Occupational Medicine etc.).
• Experience in occupational medicine or related field preferred but not required.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
• Proficiency in using electronic medical records systems for documentation and communication.
• Dedication to providing highquality care with a focus on patient safety and satisfaction.
• Availability to work parttime hours as needed with flexibility for telemedicine appointments and inoffice visits.
