Packaging Operator

Position Summary:

• Entry level position performing basic manufacturing and/or packaging equipment operations.
• Functions include documentation setup operation and cleanup with direct guidance from an upperlevel operator.
• This position is a position of training to assume the role of a fully functional operator.

Position Accountabilities:

• Works with trained operators at assigned work centers to learn all aspects of the position including batch
• Record documentation equipment setup operation and clean up.
• Assists in material handling for equipment operations equipment setup and breakdown.
• Performs sanitation duties under specific instruction of trained operator (I.e. cleaning containers parts buckets proper disposal of pharmaceutical and/or hazardous waste.
• Performs other duties as assigned or requested.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Carrying: transporting an object usually by hand arm or shoulder.
• Climbing: ascending or descending objects usually with hands/feet.
• Fingering: picking pinching or otherwise working with fingers.
• Handling: seizing holding grasping or otherwise working with hand(s).
• Hearing: perceiving the nature of sounds by the ear.
