We are looking for an Oracle DBA to collaborate with one of the projects of one of our top clients in the pharmaceutical sector.
The main tasks will be:
Systems Engineer for Chromatography application systems.
Work closely with global Chromatography Services staff sister IT groups and laboratory scientists to support global company s chromatography systems.
Support includes troubleshooting analysis and addressing corrective actions to resolve system issues.
Strong interpersonal written and oral communication skills.
Results oriented with strong organizational skills flexibility for constantly changing business priorities and foresight to proactively seek opportunities to contribute to the success of the business.
Requirements
Bachelor Degree in Information Technology or Life Sciences.
Proficiency in English/Spanish. Fluent Spoken and written English and Spanish. German language skills would be beneficial.
Experience with Oracle relational database systems SQL database querying and reporting tools Windows and Linux operating systems and support of global enterprise Chromatography systems (e.g. Empower) essential.
Experience as Developer/Programmer beneficial
Experience with computer systems validation and knowledge of FDA GxP regulations
Experience working in international projects including awareness of cultural differences.
Knowledge of Citrix and/or Microsoft Terminal Server technologies desirable
Outcome/Results: Balancing priorities of multiple tasks to ensure timely delivery on business commitments.
Internal Accountability: Responsible for completing tasks assignments and priorities promptly
Strategic vs. Operational: Must adapt to rapid changes in the technological or process landscape and be aware of impact on the company s laboratories
Soft skills: Ability to work independently as well as be a strong team player in a global setting.
