Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and configure Oracle database software
• Monitor and maintain database security and integrity
• Perform regular backups and disaster recovery operations
• Tune and optimize database performance
• Develop and implement database policies and procedures
• Upgrade and patch database software
• Collaborate with application developers to optimize SQL queries
• Resolve database connectivity and replication issues
• Manage database storage and capacity planning
• Implement and maintain database redundancy and failover solutions
• Provide technical support and guidance to users
• Analyze and troubleshoot databaserelated problems
• Document database configurations and procedures
• Conduct regular performance testing and monitoring
• Ensure compliance with data protection regulations

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field
• 5 years of experience as an Oracle DBA
• Proficiency in Oracle Database 12c and above
• 5 years of experience as an SQL and PL/SQL
• Experience in database performance tuning and optimization
• Understanding of backup and recovery methods
• Knowledge of database security concepts and best practices
• Strong problemsolving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Certifications such as Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) are a plus
• Experience with Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC) is desirable
• Familiarity with Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) is a bonus
• Understanding of cloud database services is advantageous
• Knowledge of Oracle Exadata is a plus
