Job Skills and Responsibilities:

• Ability to investigate and analyze information and to draw conclusions.
• Knowledge of established programming procedures and programming languages.
• Handson knowledge of ColdFusion programming language
• Experience in application development using ColdFusion
• Knowledge of current technological developments/trends in area of expertise.
• Ability to implement and troubleshoot programming changes and modifications.
• Ability to write technical instructions in the use of programs and/or program modifications.
• Ability to process computer data and to format and generate reports.
• Ability to communicate with and interpret the operational requirements of end users.
• Knowledge of computer flow charts and of programming logic and codes
• Demonstrated experience with Microsoft SQL Server database platform.
• Knowledge of SAP and JDEdwards (One World) ERP system preferred.
• Knowledge of Business Objects reporting software preferred

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Performs routine programming assignments requiring demonstrated expertise with ColdFusion programming language knowledge of established programming procedures and data processing requirements.
• Maintains and modifies routine programs; makes approved changes by amending flow charts developing detailed programming logic and coding changes.
• Writes new program code using prescribed specifications as appropriate. Tests and develops modifications and writes operational instructions. Evaluates simple interrelationships between programs e.g. whether a contemplated change in one part of a program would cause unwanted results in a related part.
• Analyzes performance of programs and takes action to correct deficiencies based on consultation with users and approval of supervisor.
• Confers with users to gain understanding of needed changes or modifications of existing programs.
