Job Description

The CO2 operations manager is responsible for overseeing the operations of the CO2 plants and the logistics services the company provides to clients.

This includes providing support for CO2 projects and customer installations.

The managers primary role is to ensure that the plants are operated safely and efficiently and that all necessary maintenance and quality control procedures are followed.


EDUCATION


  • Technical degree in Chemical Engineering.
  • Business administration and management will be an advantage.




Requirements

EXPERIENCE


  • Minimum 5 years of operations management experience in an industrial gas environment.
  • Should have been in an operationstype role with a strong understanding of manufacturing and supply chain principles including efficiency improvements.


REQUIREMENTS/ COMPETENCIES


  • Process and project engineering skills.
  • Production reporting writing and attention to detail.
  • Analytical and lateral thinking. Implementation of the developed strategies.
  • Work in complex and continuously shifting environments with the ability to deal with multiple scenarios simultaneously.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication negotiation and leadership skills.
  • Knowledge of the OHS Act and Labour legislation.
  • Developing operations and engineering procedures.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
