Job Objective
This is a fulltime onsite role for a Vision Engineer located in Chennai & Bangalore. The Vision Engineer will be responsible for developing and implementing vision algorithms for realtime applications. The Vision Engineer will also be responsible for collaborating with the software and hardware teams to develop solutions that combine the latest advancements in pattern recognition robotics and controllers.
Key Role & Responsibilities
1) To carry out successful commissioning of machine on factory floor conducts successful CPK GRR and deliver the best result to customer.
2) To execute installation of machines ensure smooth ramp up and hand over machine for MP.
3) To check the blueprints of the application project of customers.
4) To provide presales support to end users OEM customers and partners. It does include product demopresentation trails/POC (Proof of concept) to customers.
5) To interact with vendors for the development and design of machine.
6) Participate in industry related calls understand learn implement and replicate the application which are done elsewhere.
7) To support onsite team with their issue with existing machine and help them to troubleshoot it when and wherever required.
8) Should be ready to work onsite in rotational shift.
9) Possess the knowledge of machine vision system & industrial cameras.
10) Candidate shall have good knowledge and understanding of programming languages such as python C or C.
10) Shall be willing to travel and support customer whenever it is required.
Requirement & Qualifications:
Academics & Professional Qualifications
Essential
Preferable
B.E./ B.tech. OR equivalent
Experience:
Minimum 2 years of experience in application engineering. Experience in installation commissioning & troubleshooting of Smart Vision system vision sensors and industrial cameras. Must be aware of optics such as lighting & lens technologies
Knowledge of programming language such as C C & python .
Must have worked on industrial protocols as EthernetIP Profinet Modbus Serial and discrete IO.
Good communication & presentation skills
Experience on Cognex Keyence Omron & Sick vision system
Knowledge of other industrial products such as PLC HMI Servos and Robotics.
