The Role:

• Conduct quality assurance for a variety of integrated audiovisual and video conferencing technologies.
• Carry out quality checks on installations identify and resolve issues in collaboration with the AV integration team and project manager.
• Independently troubleshoot and resolve problems using site documentation and industry standards.
• Update system schematics create operation and maintenance documentation and maintain technical documents for future reference.
• Responsible for diagnosing faults and providing technical solutions during daily system certification escalating to third parties if needed.
• Utilise software control systems to identify programming issues primarily on the Qsys platform.
• Provide ongoing technical support guidance to support team members and communicate effectively with peers management and customers.
• Assist in remote technology deployment offering expertise to local support staff.
• Occasional travel for remote site installations and updates.
• Share feedback with the systems design team on products designs and project insights.

The Person:

• Proficient with AV solutions built on todays top professional technology platforms including Zoom Poly QSC Qsys Crestron etc.
• Experience with AV technology including AVoIP Audio DSP and Control Systems
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve tickets
• Perform system wide testing maintenance and troubleshooting as required
• Attention to detail with the ability to create wellwritten documentation and update stakeholders as needed
• Read and interpret floor plans architectural drawings and AV schematics
• 5 years hands on AV technician experience
• Experience with Installation and terminate low voltage cabling (Cat6 Coax Fiber etc.)
• Able to work both independently and within a team
• Proficient using Microsoft Office applications and GSuite
• Knowledge of live hybrid events workflows is a plus.
• Experience managing/operating zoom call with remote presenters using DANTE audio and Black Magic/Streamdeck for video switching PTZ cams
