KHR has recently partnered with a local reputable engineering business that specialises in providing mechanical services to their loyal customer base; who at present are looking to recruit an Office and Accounts

The role of Office and Accounts Manager is extremely varied and covers a number of duties, with a large focus on finance, therefore will require someone with previous accounting

This opportunity would suit someone that has worked in a small, yet busy office, that can turn their hand to all manner of tasks, too big or too Ideally, you will have experience managing an office within a manufacturing/engineering environment and will be AAT qualified or have relevant accounting

Office Management Duties:

- Overseeing office function
- HR
- Health & Safety
- Staff training
- Insurance renewals
- IT support
- Fleet management
- Assisting the MD and other Senior Staff
- Answering telephones and providing general office cover when required
- Arranging equipment for projects
- Generating customer quotes and documents
- Arranging events
- Overseeing GDPR

Finance and Accounts Duties:

- Credit control
- Accounts payable
- Inputting customer and supplier invoices into Sage
- VAT returns
- CIS returns and statements
- Year-end accounts
- Bank reconciliation
- Banking (cheques/cash)
- Raising customer invoices
- Monthly reports to MD
- P11D returns
- Payroll (Monthly - currently 13 staff)
