• Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students with diverse learning needs.
  
• Adapt and create instructional materials to accommodate individual learning styles and abilities.
  
• Provide direct instruction to students with special needs utilizing specialized teaching techniques.
  
• Conduct assessments to evaluate students progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly.
  
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture that promotes the social and emotional wellbeing of students.
  
• Implement behavioral interventions and support strategies to address individual student needs.
  
• Stay current on best practices research and trends in special education to continually enhance teaching methods.
  
• Communicate regularly with parents guardians and other members of the education team to provide updates on student progress.
  

Requirements

• Bachelors Degree in Education or Higher Education
  
• Knowledge of teaching practices for students with special needs
  
• Previous experience working with students with exceptional needs
  
• Professional Educators License with Special Education LSB1 endorsement
