Role Description:
This is a remote internship role for a Node.js Engineering Intern position. The intern will work closely with our development team to gain handson experience in building scalable and efficient backend solutions using Node.js.
Qualifications:
- Basic understanding of JavaScript and Node.js
- Familiarity with Express.js or other Node.js frameworks
- Knowledge of asynchronous programming and eventdriven architecture
- Strong problemsolving skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science or related field
- Previous experience with web development or programming is a plus
Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing serverside logic using Node.js
- Collaborate with the development team to design and implement scalable backend solutions
- Learn to build RESTful APIs and integrate with frontend applications
- Support the optimization of backend processes for maximum performance and efficiency
- Participate actively in team meetings and code reviews
- Work closely with frontend developers to integrate frontend and backend components
- Help identify and fix bugs and performance issues under the guidance of senior developers
- Stay updated with the latest Node.js trends and best practices
- Contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing within the team
- Assist in other tasks and projects as needed by the development team
