Overview:
The role of a Node.js Developer is pivotal in our organization as we heavily rely on Node.js and its ecosystem to build scalable and efficient serverside applications. As a Node.js Developer you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining serverside logic and working closely with frontend developers to integrate userfacing elements with serverside logic.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing serverside logic using Node.js
- Building reusable code and libraries for future use
- Implementation of security and data protection
- Designing and implementing data storage solutions
- Collaborating with frontend developers to integrate userfacing elements
- Optimizing applications for maximum speed and scalability
- Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests
- Understanding accessibility and security compliance
- Managing and maintaining continuous integration and deployment
- Staying up to date with the latest best practices
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Proven experience as a Node.js Developer or similar role
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript
- Experience with Express.js
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs and microservices
- Experience with version control particularly Git
- Understanding of serverside templating languages
- Knowledge of asynchronous programming and its quirks
- Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment
- Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS or Azure
- Strong understanding of agile methodologies
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills
- Good communication and collaboration abilities
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Detailoriented and organized approach to work
