Performs the primary function of a R.N. in assessing planning implementing and evaluating the care of all assigned patients on the unit during the shift. Is responsible for meeting the established standards of practice of Med/Surg for managing all assigned personnel supplies and equipment and for promoting teamwork with physician s and personnel of other departments. Cares for patients in all age groups (infants children adolescents adults). Must have BLS ACLS and PALS.
